The smallest magnetic charge-transfer system unveiled

Representation of the different magnetic states of the photo- and thermo-induced charge transfer molecule, as well as the associated spectral signatures that reflect the electron tranfer between the iron and cobalt atoms.

Researchers from the CRPP (M3 Team, Molecular Materials & Magnetism, Rodolphe Clérac) and the ICMCB, in collaboration with other laboratories, contributed to the first local description of the electronic properties of the smallest magnetic charge transfer system in Europe using advanced experimental techniques.
