My research focused on the investigation of local density fluctuations in complex materials via Single Molecule (fluorescence) Spectroscopy.
2002–2008 Postdoctoral research fellow, Department of Chemistry, University of Leuven, Belgium
  • I pursued the previous activity and started to investigate colloidal photonic crystals doped or not with fluorescent emitters for photonic applications,
  • I performed two long stays (2X 9-10 months) abroad in order to further develop my skills in computer simulations of polymer (Prof. Binder, Mainz) and design of colloidal architectures (Prof. Ravaine, Bordeaux).
Since 2008 CNRS researcher at the Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal, CNRS-UPR8641, France
My activities focus on the design (modelization) and optical characterization of materials obtained via the bottom-up chemical approach with applications for photonics and nanophotonics via multiple scattering / localization, band gap engineering and plasmonics with gain materials.

Supervising activities

I have supervised 8 Ph. D students, 15 master students and 2 postdoctoral fellows.

Scientific production

I am author of 68 publications in international journals, have an H factor of 21 and have had more than 100 citations per year since 2007. Here are my last publications (2014).
